About
Background
I am originally from the United States and was raised in Southern California, about five minutes from Disneyland - not a bad place for a kid to grow up. After high school, I moved to the other side of the country for college, and ended up living in New York City for 13 years. I attended a joint program between the Jewish Theological Seminary of America and Columbia University, meaning I have two BA degrees - one in Bible and one in Film. I also have a Masters Degree in Film, so yes, one day I plan on making The Ten Commandments Part II.

Over the years I had many opportunities to visit Israel, but it was only after my 17th trip that I decided to stick around for good. I moved to Jerusalem and joined an intensive five-month Hebrew learning program. I must admit, I did not spend as much time as I should have studying the language because I fell hard for one of my peers, a vivacious lady from Argentina. She hardly spoke English and I didn't know Spanish, so we spent a lot of time flirting in our broken Hebrew. Somehow it worked out because today we are married and have a beautiful little boy!

Beyond falling in love with my wife, I also fell in love with Israel, its sounds, smells, foods, and pretty much everything else about this place. I decided to become a tour guide in order to share my passion for Israel with as many people as possible. Israel is such a unique place with so many special things to see and experience. I have had the great fortune of exploring all of its nooks and crannies and becoming a licensed expert in its history, religions, culture, geology, architecture, etc.

Guiding Philosophy
My guiding philosophy is simple: envision, enrich, enjoy
Envision: I fully cater my tours to your requests, concerns, and interests. Some visitors are Israel newbies, and put their trust in me to create a perfect itinerary for them. Others have a specific vision, and I do just as they ask. More often than not, clients will have an underlying idea of what they're looking for and we work together to build a trip that meets their expectations.

Enrich: Israel is an educational waterfall, gushing with historical info, religious significance, and cultural phenomena. I try to infuse my guiding with a rich amalgamation of all three without putting exorbitant focus on exact dates and figures. My goal is to imbue you with an overall better understanding of Israel's faceted development and influence in both ancient and modern times.

Enjoy: This one is most important. I'm no Jerry Seinfeld, but I do try my best to keep my guests laughing and in a good mood. Additionally, Israel is chock-full of entertaining and interactive activities appropriate for all ages. Making fresh pita bread in the desert, digging for relics in underground caves, and riding in jeeps down a mountain road are just a few examples of the endless leisures you can partake in. Bottom line, this is your vacation it should be as fun as possible!
